Knee Reconstruction

Total knee replacement is a surgical procedure in which the knee joint is replaced by a prosthetic implant, i.e. a knee prosthesis. Total knee replacement means replacing the articular surfaces of the femur, tibia and patella.

Knee revision surgery is performed to repair an artificial knee joint that has been damaged over time due to an infection, or due to normal wear of the prosthetic implants.

Patient matched technology is a pioneering development in which the cutting blocks for total knee replacement are tailor made to accurately match the individual patient‘s anatomy.
